Outstanding Industrial Tomato Harvest in 2025
2025-10-05In 2025, our company contracted industrial tomatoes on 650 hectares with 42 partners, including individual farmers and producer organizations (TÉSZ), which represent an additional 20–25 growers.
Following the cooler weather in May, conditions were generally favorable for our industrial tomato plantations, apart from the drought. However, our growers had the necessary capacity for irrigation, while the dry, favorable weather helped to avoid plant protection issues.
Within our integration, 13 harvesters operate, ensuring that our processing plant’s daily capacity of 4,000 tons can be reliably supplied.
This year’s crop was outstanding in terms of both quantity and quality: alongside above-average yields, the tomatoes consistently arrived with exceptional dry matter content throughout the season, which greatly supported the production of high-quality tomato products.
